Applications for University Admission for the Academic Year 2021/2022 from the candidates whose results have been changed based on the re-scrutinized results of the G.C.E. A/L Examination 2021 and those who appealed for not applying for University Admission.

The University Grants Commission (UCC) has decided calling for applications online from the candidates whose results have been changed based on the re-scrutinized results of the G.C.E. (Advanced Level) Examination 2021 released on 17th January 2023 and those who appealed for not applying for university admission for the academic year 2021/2022 within the earlier given time period. Such candidates can apply for university admission online for the academic year 2021/2022 from 24th January 2023 to 31st January 2023.

The newspaper advertisement on calling for applications which has already been published on the official website of the UCC (www.ugc.ac.lk) can be referred for further information on submitting application.

Important:

Please note that it is a mandatory requirement to send a scanned copy or a clear photograph of the printed duly completed application generated after submitting the application online, having completed the other requirements as given in the University Admission Handbook valid for the academic year 2021/2022 to the email apply2021@ugc.ac.lk, in addition to sending it via registered post.

Please note that the 30 days period given for changing the preference order is not applicable on this occasion.

Further, it is to be noted that this opportunity for applying university admissions for the academic year 2021/2022 provided for the above said candidates is not applicable for the courses of study with aptitude/ practical tests which have already been concluded by the relevant University/ Campus/ Institute.
