The Ministry of Public Administration has declared Monday, the 19th of September as a special holiday for all state institutions.
The Secretary to the Ministry said that the special holiday has been announced in line with the day of mourning for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
The Secretary to the Ministry of Public Administration said, however, that the special holiday will be provided without affecting the essential services of state institutions.

மகாராணி இரண்டாம் எலிசபெத்தின் துக்க தினத்தை முன்னிட்டு இந்த விசேட விடுமுறை அறிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
எவ்வாறாயினும், அரச நிறுவனங்களின் அத்தியாவசிய சேவைகளுக்கு பாதிப்பு ஏற்படாத வகையில் விசேட விடுமுறை வழங்கப்படும் என பொது நிர்வாக அமைச்சின் செயலாளர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.
